Overview
Experience

Since fourth grade, Grace has been adamant about becoming a lawyer. This was a shock to the family since both of her parents work in healthcare. In high school, Grace decided to go to nursing school first, get some experience and then proceed with her dream of becoming a medical malpractice attorney.

Grace joined the firm in January 2021 as a law clerk and has transitioned into an associate attorney role following her graduation from SIU School of Law in May 2021. Grace is currently focused on areas such as medical malpractice, personal injury and general insurance defense litigation. The educational blend of law and medicine enables Grace to advocate for her clients in a unique, yet comprehensive way.

Grace obtained her Bachelor of Nursing at Avila University in 2016 and then went on to practice critical care nursing at Liberty Hospital in their ICU. She became certified as an open-heart nurse and was able to recover patients in need of high acuity care. Grace then moved to Carbondale, Illinois where she obtained her JD at Southern Illinois University School of Law and received the prestigious Lincoln’s Inn Award for her leadership and service to the law school.

Grace continues to keep her Missouri Nursing License current. She has moved back to the Kansas City area with her significant other and they are enjoying all the amazing things that the city has to offer.
